Discover Hollywood's Archetypal Acting Technique

Exclusive virtual workshop, June 28-30, 2024

New Acting Approach is Back

We all play a role in life, but do you know what yours is?

If you have to ‘perform’ in your life, be that you are a coach, entrepreneur, speaker or actor, understanding YOU will become your greatest secret weapon to get outstanding results.

Why use an acting method to develop yourself and your career, whether you are an actor or not?

Archetypal acting is a game changer in not only the acting world, but in the world of business.

Understanding and helping you to see how your strengths and weaknesses play out through archetypal patterns will help you to become a great performer in both your professional and personal lives by becoming more of yourself, rather than trying to act out a role that is NOT who you are.

Hollywood coaching team John Coppola and Bronwyn Boyle are back for offering more classes,
bringing renowned and widely respected Hollywood acting technique to Australia.

From their experience (past and current) working with
actors, they discovered that if actors could find and develop their own personal archetypal patterns, it helped them land not only roles, but roles that were made for them bringing great success.

Even if, as an actor, they are playing a fictional charter, it wasn’t about ‘acting’ as a character, it was bringing their own personal strengths to the character. In the workshop, they share story after story of how actors were either casted perfectly or mist-casted so either creating success for a project or creating negative or forgettable performances.

We all play roles and characters in our personal and professional life, so doesn’t it make sense that we are ‘cast’ into the roles that fit us BEST to give a memorable and wildly successful performance by understanding ourselves better.

These workshops, available virtually across Australia, provides you with the skills to understand the depth of your and other’s character.

Archetypal acting is a game changer in understanding ourselves and others. This unique acting technique, based on self-discovery, is taught in Hollywood, where mastering it opens doors.

This workshop is designed to help you see how your strengths and weaknesses play out through archetypal patterns and how to use them to improve your personal and professional lives.

So get on your A-game - and your Zoom - on, and get ready for an exciting, personally challenging and hugely rewarding experience!

"You have to find the ‘YOU’ you bring to a role and own it. We’ve all seen characters that we associate with actors, and can’t imagine anyone else playing that role. Kevin Costner was ‘The Bodyguard’, no-one remembers him in ‘Tin Cup’. An archetypal miscast."

Meet the Coaches

In Hollywood, the Coppola name needs no introduction. John has long been one of the most sought-after acting coaches in LA and the list of his clients is closely guarded. Bronwyn Boyle has been lucky enough to learn from and work with John at his studio over the last 15 years.

John Coppola

From Brooklyn, New York, John Coppola is a multi-talented director and acting coach. His clients have starred on HBO, Showtime, ABC, CBS, NBC, CW, Netflix, FX, AMC, USA, Lifetime, Fox, WB, TNT, and Showcase.

John has spearheaded more than 100 theatrical productions in New York, Los Angeles, and abroad. As a film director, John's accolades include the award for Best Director at the New York International Film & Video Festival for his film 'Possibility'. This film also took the Grand Jury Prize for the short film 'In Los Angeles.'

John's early career as an actor took him from the footlights of Broadway to the soundstages of Hollywood. After attending Yale's prestigious drama program, he appeared on Broadway in shows including Brighton Beach Memoirs, Biloxi Blues, A Midsummer Night's Dream, American Buffalo, Hair and West Side Story.

John's television acting credits include Fox TV's Herman's Head, NYPD Blue, and Chicken Soup for the Soul. On film, John starred in Into the Paradise and appeared in Last Exit to Brooklyn, Out of Gas on Lover's Leap, and Terry Southern's You Gotta Leave Your Mark. He also produced and starred in an award-winning one-man show entitled The DeVivo Variation. This premiered at the HBO Workspace in LA and ran for more than two years, garnering two Critic's Choice and a Dramalogue Award.

John lives in Los Angeles, where he is in demand as one of Hollywood's top acting coaches. He offers his unique teaching style and private coaching to a thriving group of students, established actors, and movie stars.

As a policy, Studio C does not promote the names of its clientele. The studio's roster ranges from actors just getting their start to major motion picture and television stars. Past clients have booked starring, recurring, and feature roles in many film and television projects.
